I've always wanted to get a few magnetic drain plugs. They sure can't hurt anything, only help. I would like to get one for my SRT-4 and my Roadrunner, I've just never done it yet.

The reason I asked is that I saw them on eBay and was wondering if they were worth the price. Probably should use them while the car has fewer miles on it, before everything gets seated/broken in...[sm=smiley4.gif]

The sooner the better, most of the wear and metal particulates are early on in an engines life. It is tighter causing greater friction and more contaminates in the oil as a result of it.

Yup. That's the major reason I had the oil changed at 600 miles instead of 3,000. I'm doing it once more at about 1500. Then we'll go to the 3,000 mile changes....
