02 sebring heat only works when on the gas???
sweet,i never have seen this before.Dont understand how the heat would work only when on the gas,if its at idle theres next to no heat.Really dont wanna bring to the garage because i know where thats gonna go.

clogged heater core, radiator. Bad vacum control on the heater controls. Maybe a bad water pump, but I doubt it. I would flush the heater core

most likely will just need a good flushing out. anyone think the thermostat might be stuck open and its just taking a lot longer for the car to heat up at idle? or does it get cold rather soon after coming to a stop from a drive as well?
my intrepid used to do the same thing. check on top of thermostat housing there should be a bleeder vavle. open it and bleed the air out of system. if you get air coming out of it its a air lock. these new systems wont move water thru heater core if air is in the system
