i just bought a 2001 dakota sport and the horn just developed a problem of going off when it wants. and now it doesnt shut off at all so i unpluged the wires going to my horns as a temperary fix
.... how do i fix the problem of the horns going syco

 

gonna have to look around and find out where the circuit is completing itself!! has anyone ever punched the steering wheel to your knowlegde? saw that once.
also find the harness coming from your horns and follow it as far as you can looking for opens in the wire or something else wrong... that's pretty much all i can say without a physical inspection. just look for something wrong..

does the horn go off literally all the time, or when you turn the wheel a specific way? maybe with another system, like the turn signal or stereo controls?? or is it more intermittent?

 

Its most likely the switch in the steering wheel.
