I had a remote start (MOPAR) installed by the dealer on my 2005 1500 RAM with the HEMI, the paperwork did not have a program guide. I'm having problems with the remote start system. Push the button two times to start the truck and the horn honks 5 times and the truck won't start. The dealer is 70 miles away so I would rather not drive to them if some one out there knows of a program guide on the web. Or could help me with the programing...

how is the lay out on the remote
mine is not a dealer part but its lay out is

lock /unlock
trunk/ key symbol to start

to start mine I hold the key symbol down for 3 seconds let go
then it starts to turn off you just hit it once shuts car down horn beeps.

Try to hold down for 3 sec then release.

I tried and it still didn't work. I called the dealer and told them what was happening and was told there was a recall for the MOPAR dealer installed unit. (Bad Brain).[&:]
Was also told there is no programing guild for this unit, it is set by the factory with not options.

If you don't mind what did the dealer charge you for the unit and install? I have an '05 Dakota I want to either have it done or try it myself.

Also, do you have a sentry key?
