the deal is i have some of these heads that have bigger intake and exhaust ports, and also these heads appear to be off a larger bore motor than the others i have.

Unless I'm really confused, which isn't out of the question, it would most likely be inside the rocker pedestal area. I'm not even sure that the newer heads would have them.

Where are the casting numbers located? I can look at the heads on my truck and see if they match-up to those.

I also wouldnt think that the heads, jsut because they are on the same engine, are from the same batch or run date.

this isnt going to be like a difference in run date. these heads are like for a big bore motor like a 4.080 bore

gunnar. I could only find a # on the drivers side, rear part of the head. To further confuse things the # is 53021609BA. That is on the truck you see below.
