Default Question about BOV

I am thinking of getting an external BOV like HKS, Greddy, or Blitz. I was kinda up in the air on if I should get a Hardpipe or go with the kit where you cut the Hotside piping to install the adapter hose. I am not really sure of cutting the piping unless I had an extra one to cut. Thanks.

Getting a hard pipe would be better IMO because if you have any problems you can go back to stock. Also don't forget the Block Off Plate to replace the Mopar BOV.

I got the BOP and some guy on the SRTForums might sell me a hotside plastic pipe so I have an extra one. Doing the adapter pipe is much cheaper (they suggested the DSM BOV because it is much cheaper). But most people suggest if you will be running higher boost to ditch the plastic because the plastic flexes too much and will create boost leaks. But I am not sure if I want to dish that type of money into hardpipes.

Even though I already have the Mopar BOV I'm looking into getting the ATP pressure pipe, it's looks damn good and it does'nt have that stupid restriction that the stock one does. I will need to get a plug for the spot where the aftermarket BOV goes though, because I love my Mopar BOV and I'm sticking with it.[sm=smiley20.gif]

I would think that once you get the hardpipe you won't go back. 71RR made a good point also that you don't have to use a BOV on the hard pipe right away either. If you are worried about the cost just get the Mopar BOV.

I noticed when you raise boost, that Mopar BOV does flutter a lot. I rode in my buddies SRT and with his HKS there is no flutter. I think that is the one thing that annoys me the most. But that is a really good point to get the AGP and then cap it off. I have the BOP, now just need the BOV and pipe and I am set. But I kinda am thinking intake and exhaust before this though. I would rather have the more power.....lol.

If I could do it over I would have spent money on the hard pipe and bov. I bought a g-tech to measure my cars performance and spent 250. would love to sell it for cash. I have the mopar one and hate the fluttering.

Has anything heard anything about the forge? I was thinking about that. This way I can pass on the hardpipe for now and get a much stronger BOV.
