Default quiet exhaust

Okay here is the deal. Im trying to get idea's for an exhaust system for a 2002 stratus (2.4 dohc I4). Due to the area in which i go to school and work I would like this upgraded exhaust to be as quiet as possible.Mostly to deffer people with wandering hands from taking my car. Silent would be best but I'll keep it realistic and say no louder than a g35's exhaust. With that in mind, give me your opinions idea's and comments.

I am most likely gonna be upgrading to a high flow cat. the size will depend on what all of you people tell me.

I'm assuming you're looking for a straight through system so I'd reccomend a 5zigen Pro Racer a-spec with a silencer or a Greddy Evo as they're quieter than most aftermarket systems even without the silencer(I'd still get a silence for it.)

Im not looking for a "system" I dont like the whole idea of spending $600 for a chromed exhaust system that I have to then "silence". Nor do I want anything flashy, chromed or carbon fiber, basic unpolished stainless steel is great. In my exerience "silencer's" do in fact make things quiet, but at the cost of hp & tq.

So i'll try this again but re-worded

Im looking for a Cat/pipe size/muffler combo that is going to be no louder than a g35. Anybody have any idea's?

all I'm talking about buying is the muffler from either of those systems. Both are quiet compared to most of the competitors, but if you espect to find an aftermarket exhaust that's as quiet as a stock one without using a silencer(which, by the way, does not hurt your torque numbers, if anything it improves the torque numbers as an exhaust sytem hurts it by reducing back pressure.) you're nuts.

Just an update for all those that care:

I tried out the Greddy Evo Muffler, It was way to loud for me. Even with the silencer. So I tried the dynomax Turbo muffler. Much, much, much, much better. I am a very happy customer with the dynomax. It's so quiet that if your not listening for it, You wouldnt even know it's there. Very close to stock sound, with a minor, I stress the minor grumble at very low rpm's ie 1,000-2,000. Above that i cant even hear it.

But that is strange. With my Super Turbo Dynomax Muffler I also hear the grumble at low RPMs, but it gets very high pitched past that. That is strange how you cant hear yours past that and I can. But I agree with tflea and go with the vibrant exhaust system.

I've had the dynomax on for a while now. i still love it.
The reason why i cant hear it is because of the factory sound deading material in the car. Outside of the car it really still is not that noticable, but it can be heard. Definatly a difference over stock.

I never heard of vibrant anyone got a link for me?
