Dual exhaust?
I have never had anything but stock exhaust on all of my vehicles. I purchased a 2006 5.7 Hemi 1500 6 months ago and was wandering what would be a good set up. I talked to a muffler business and he recommended Flowmaster 50's. I don't know if this is good or not, I would like to have something that sounds good, but not to awful loud. Mainly one that does not have alot of cabin noise. I'm a rookie at all of this, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
go for it, i have flowmasters i think there 50s but they where on the truck when i bought it, and i love the sound of them, its just a muffler with 1 inlet and dual out and it seems like its not to much cabin noise compared to others iv been in.. im also a newb at this lol
stay clear of the super 40.....I'm running it now and its almost as loud inside as it is outside. It is their loudest series muffler.
go here to get a sound clip of all the mufflers flowmaster offers.

I agree with Red98ram, go for it. I got headers and Flowmaster Dual exhaust but I like it loud.If you want to go a bit quieter, don't go with headers, but try the 3 chamber Flowmaster.
I have a 98 Ram 5.9 4X4 and I want to dual it out. I have a set of Flowmaster Super 40's (black) and is purchasing the JBA headers but I am having the dangdest time finding a dual exhaust system from the headers back. Any ideas or suggestions????????
I personally got magnaflows... They offer a DEEP great sound.... But they aren't very loud.... .I love them... I am sold on mags.... Flowmasters in my opinion are built to be loud....Not great sounding.

the Force muffler is a cheaper Flowbaster same sounds for less $50 or $90,Dynomax ultra flows, www.Classicchambered.com(great muffler if installed backwards so that the gases flow over the louvers, Flowbaster Super 40 or Outlaws or One-Chambers, www.Cherrybomb.com Extreme or Glasspack (?I ordered a glass pack for my moms s-10 blazer it was in an IMCO box and wrapper?), and the Morso sprial muffler.
mines a gutted cat,
fastman simm,
2.50" pipe,
a race muffler (to pass the inspection),
and a turndown
***If You gut the cats get a Fastman SIMM before so the MIL doesn't come on***
