Have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado with a 4.0 automatic transmission....

Have a couple issues........

Firstissue is when the vehicle is cold and is put into reverse gear.It will go into reverse gear but hesitates and theengineneeds to bereved up a little to get it to move. Once the transmission is warmed up it acts normal and goes into reverse with no hesitation and acts normally..

Second issue is once in a while I will be driving and it will shift from first to second fine but from second to third gear it will rev almost to 4000 before it finally shifts.

Just to note, the transmission fluid and filter have been changed

The reason for the delay upshift into 3rd gear is because the seals are hard. This maybe the same reason for reverse too. You'll may get by with just a seal kit, but you will need to inspect the clutches too.
