Red face 42 re shift kit 1995 Jeep 4.0 grand Cherokee

The shift kit I got is supposed to keep trans lines charged, so I guess I can delete the one way check valve in the transmission line. I read in a forum here you can delete it but you would have to wait a few seconds for the system to charge up before driving. I'm assuming this will correct this, shift kit. and keep the lines charged all the time. So all I got to say now is good by check valve. I just did a overhaul and added overdrive clutches to unit and installed Kevlar clutches.

Check valve is to prevent converter drainback, which is what causes the trans to be hesitant first drive of the day. Having the pump charge the converter in park, (which is what I think your kit does) dramatically reduces that delay. It also means you can check your fluid level in park.
