Default Lifting A New Grand Cherokee...

My Dad was looking at getting a new Grand Cherokee for my Mom. We both know that they are unibody, so a body lift isn't possible. Hewants to know if you can do a suspension lift on a Laredo 4WD with the HEMI. If you can, what kit is good for it and how high can you lift it? Also, once you lift it, what's the biggest tire that you can fit on it?

Man, that looks sweet! Any clue on how hard it is to install it besides the welding & cutting?

by the way if your wanting to take it off road... i would susgest going with the WJ (the generation before the WK) because the WJ has solid front axles whereas the WK has the independent front. but thats just me.

I don't have the WK, but I do have the WJ. I put a 3.25" Suspension lift on it by myself in 9 hrs. Not too hard. Easier with a buddy though. Can't remember if they do any for the WK or not but hear is where I got mine from......Iron Rock Offroad. Another one that deals specifically with the Jeeps is Kevin's Offroad.

As for tires, with my 3" lift I can run 32" tires or 265/75/16 on it. If I put the bb lift on it I'll have over 5" of lift including tire size and be able to run 33's.
