Default 90 Shadow Issues

Thank you all for looking at this and any who may help, i ahve a 90shadow 2.5l TBI 5spd, it has a hesitation some times durring acceleration at lower RPM's then it will just launch, next issue is that i cant get the breaks off the front for the life of me, i stripped the socket i was using on it trying to get it off(just wondering if there is another way around it). I also just purchased an intake manifold and fuel injector system (not including fuel pump) and wanna know if the stock 14.5psi will be enough for n/a, i dont mind getting a new pump i just dont wanna if i dont have too. Also it will idle kinda rough and miss when i first start it up, and try and die/will die when i got to stop some time, the engine runs fine it dosent have any noises in it and it dosent smoke at all so if any one here has any tips or advecie that they could share it would be much appreciated... One last thing will the 3.0l v6 pump be enough for my car and will the throttle body interchange with the stock one once i have MPI since i have a 3.0 spirit just sitting at my house not running (threw a rod)... anyway any help that anyone may be able to give me would be great...

Thanks guys

First off how old are the plugs, cap, and rotor? Second what was the intake off that you bought? I believe 88 is the only year that the 14.5 psi was used. Did you buy a mpi for a tbi car? If you got a mpi for the 2.5 yes them the trottle body will interchange but if you still have the stock tbi it won't for couple reasons. First the bolt pattern are different and second the mpi cars didn't have the injectors in the trottle body to run the car. If you want to convert your car to mpi you need to do some wiring to get it to fire off the 4 injectors instead of 1 that it has. What year is the spirit since all pumps after 91 where the same before that the tbi had a smaller one and the turbo and 3.0 got the same one.

the spirit has the 3.0 so i know the pump is the right size, my car is a 90 shadow, but i was wondering if the fuel pressure was 14.5 or the 36 psi, i just dontr think that 14.5 is gonna be enough for my car to run mpi, i already got all the parts that ill need for the mpi convertion, and the wiring setup that ill need jsut gotta connect it all together and bolt it in, i was only wondering if the fuel pump will be enough thats all, and it does have a new set of plugs wires and rotor/cap, mabye after the convertion it will run better right? dunno, thanks for your help though

If you can find the right injectors with a flow rate that will match the low pressure. A 93 pump is different but should be able to get it to work may have redo the wiring conector.

ok i got the injectors that are from an escort, and the fuel pump off a turbo car, everything is hooked up, but the car runs like **** and REALLY rich, are there any injectors that are smaller than the ones off the escorts that are the same style cause i got esort injectors thinking that they would be enough, but they arent, could it be something else?

thanks

What fuel regulator are you using? Stock turbo pump at idle is like 45 psi vs an escort that could have max pressure of 30 (don't know for sure).
