Hard to belive that it would cost $1000 to get it rebuilt, my friend got his done (99 neon) for about 350 bucks. We pulled it and dropped it off at the trans shop, and put it back in ourselves though.
Yeah, that's my point. If he's not confident enough to yank the tranny himself, labor runs pretty high these days. I would just save my pennies and get myself another Shadow, one with a manual tranny. (ALOT less problems, and a bit quicker) I've never been a fan of Chrysler automatic transmissions...

If I had the opportunity to get one, I would ****** up ANY turbo K car, (besides the really old Daytonas.) and dump about 3 g's into the motor, and have a car that will embarass ALOT of really expensive cars.... [sm=chairshot.gif]
