90 Dodge brakes
1990 Dodge Spirit 2.5L Front disc/Rear Drums
I recently replaced pads and shoes all round, new wheel cylinders on rears, flushed fluid, bled all around.
Also adjusted park brake so it works good.
Pedal still feels spongey and the pedal seems lose a little pressure with my foot on it while car is stopped.
Sounds to me like a master cylinder going bad. Maybe I ruined the seals, when replaced everything and possibly moved the piston too far back into a corroded area of the cylinder???
One more thing -- The red brake light is _not_ on and does _not_ come on when pressing the pedal. I thought it would??
Does any one agree / disagree with my "bad master cylinder" diagnosis??
Thank you,
Lee

Do you mean the brake light on the dash? That is for the parking brake.
You should bleed the brakes a second time, you might still have air in the lines. If that doesn't fix it then master cylinder is most likely problem.
