1972 Carrera Red Dodge Demon 340
This is our 1972 Dodge Demon 340. I call it "Carrera Red" because the guy we bought it from bought a red paint that was intended for a 70s Carrera, and the paint shop put "1973 Carrera red" on the can.
We had been looking for a muscle era Dodge when we stumbled across this one...and what a find. These pictures were taken of it when we picked it up...it looks much worse than it really was..it needed a motor and transmission, and thanks to the tremendous help from my dad, we got it up and running on a tight budget. The car ran 13.51 @ 101, and driving home from the mopar nationals it got up around 18mpg...and it can cruise pretty nicely on the open road as well.

Anyways...pictures of when we got it...

the interior was incredibly dirty..

the underside was pretty clean, but wasnt all there yet...

These are some images of our Demon, taken this past October.

One things for sure, it's a bb 6-pac, sb was about 6"high in the front, and 8" high in the back (taller plenum), and the paint looks like chryslers k4 paint. By the way, good find with the Demon, nice build, and su-weet ride

Even badder
