Default 1997 Dodge T-Rex 6x6

Truck: Dodge T-Rex 6x6
one of six

Engine: V10 putting out 550 ftlbs tourque and 330 hp. Snorkle intake, flowmaster dual exhaust, water proofing kit.

Drivetrain: Stock 47RE Tranny, 271hd Transfer case sending power to THREE rockwell 2.5 ton axles with a gear ratio of 6.72.

Coil suspension four link with Procomp shocks. Exo-cage and custom bumpers with Hydraulic winch. On board CO2 system, 63 gallon full tank, custom extended cab which seats six people.

Hummer double beadlock rims with 42 inch Iroc Superswampers.

This truck is very famous, so far appearing / featured in 14 magazines world wide, over 57 web pages, two TV shows, and a regular at Four Wheeler Magazine's Top Truck Challenge and FourWheeler TV. It was a competitor ther in 2004, and now it is a Judge's truck and is used to rescue and extract the competitors rigs when they are stuck or broken down.

This truck has amazed crowds in competitions and events across the west. Not only is it street legal, but excells in the rocks, snow, mud, hill climbs, and safaris. See for your self, watch the videos. It is a great all around truck especially for the offroad family hauler.

It is not as pretty as it used to be, because it gets used and abused!!! It proudly shows off its scratches and trail badges. 140,000 miles on the odometer and trust me those are the hardest miles any truck will go through. Engine has been underwater 7 times and all the engine and drive train is stock. If that ain't a testiment to how tought these trucks are then I don't know what is. The only parts that have failed are 3 shocks, 1 drive shaft, 1 winch, and alot of paint.

Sponsors: Dodge, Detroit Lockers, KC lights, Interco Tires, Lynex

Driveline or Pinion Brake. Since the axles are locked with Detroit lockers, all you need are brakes at the axle pinion to stop the truck instead of at the hub. This is fairly common with Rockwell 2.5 ton axles.
