Ok, so Ill start by saying, before planning anything, we want as much input as possible, so that we will have a better turnout than last year. I think that this past year, we still had some 10 or 12 people, even though it was a miserable, rainy day. We went to the Walter P Chrysler Museum, and then cruised to hooters. It was pretty sweet, as the hooters mgmt let us basically take over the pool room, so we had a TV and pool table to ourselves.


So, lets have some input. Id rather do this later in the summer, like june or july..the mopar nationals are in august as always, and id rather stay away from that, and carlisle.

 

I agree with June/July. My brother is getting married in August, so that month is a no for me.

Last year was pretty fun, but hopefully there will be no rain this time.

Do we want to change it up at all? or same kind of deal as last time?

 

we can do the same thing, as there are still not many members who have been to the museum...or if someone else has an idea, id be willing to change things...

 

Well I had alot of fun last year, I'd love to do it again this summer, I personally don't care when just let me know and I'll do my best to show up... and well hopefully I won't be late again :-P...

those who are posting, and agreeing with ideas, please mention where youre from, and whether or not the museum and a cruise to hooters would work for you. or, we could find some place that has more parking, if we have a bigger group...

 

im in southwest MI, iv never been to the museum so thats works.... and so ya really have to ask about Hooters?? [/align]

 

the only problem with hooters, is that their parking lot is oddly shaped, so if we have a decent crowd, it could be a problem...although they let us monopolize the pool room last year.
