PSIchick. You talk about getting a wideband once you start adjusting boost levels. I just upgraded to a Stage 1 ecu. Should I be concerned with a wideband yet or can I count on the ecu to manage my a/f ratio?
Also, is installing a wideband just allowing you to monitor a/f ratios or can you actually adjust them to prevent running too lean/rich?

widebands just let you monitor a/f's. you need a seperate unit to control fuel (dtec, neo, etc.). unless you've done some kind of fuel system upgrade (pump, injectors, return line, whatever), you're not really going to have much to control. without those upgrades you have to change boost levels to adjust a/f's. one you do some fuel upgrades though and get a fuel controller, you can pull fuel to tune.
