RE: First Mods
Yeah spiking 17-18psi and then holding 15-16psi to redline. Our cars have the tendency to drop psi after 5K rpm cause of the weak stock wastegate actuator. Get a Stage 1 upgrade, AGP wastegate, and manual or electric boost controller and your there. I just put on the Stage 1 and im spiking 16-17psi and holding 13-14 till redline. Its a nice little upgrade. They only claim 10hp/10tq performance increase but you get alot of other cool features like improved throttle response, quicker turbo spool up, increase in boost, increased exhaust note, and boost hold during wot shifting.

RE: First Mods
I do have pictures of my 92lx and it is a complete drag car now. Yesterday was the first run for her this year and i pulled an 8.90 1/4mile. I have a small shot of nitrous i plan to spray to get me into 8.50s. I'll get some pictures and a video for you guys if interested.
I went with 500 because that is a good number, i came from rear wheel drive vehicles and the ford 302 block(ford stock 302 blocks crack at about 500 crank horsepower) I don't want to redo the block on the srt4 i want the most "safe" power i can make. If i fall short due to a block threshold or similar, ill survive that lol. I want it to be a daily car that i can drive with no worries of problems b/c as you can understand, driving around my mustang with 18psi of twin screw supercharger(i made 18psi by 2,100rpms) and a built block(dart block stroked and bored to 347, afr 205CC heads with 68cc chambers and 2.02 runners and 72# injectors with a 636 lift cam) becomes alittle expensive is something breaks and really hard to keep on the road, i can break traction on my nitto555r drag radials like i was driving on bald street tires. My goal is most reliable, fast and fun car i can have without worry.

400ish it is then. I don't want to replace the block by any means. I can get heads ported and polished no problem, change cams etc but takeing the block out is a pain. What kind of exhaust is still my concern, I don't like high pitch exhaust note, iv'e heard some mean sounding srt4s then iv'e heard some that make me think why did they even put that on there vehicle.

RE: First Mods
For exhaust you definitely wanna go 3" turbo back with a 3" 02 housing if you wanna achieve those numbers. Our exhaust systems are fairly simple. Basically after the turbine housing outlet you have the 02 housing then the downpipe and then the catback section. As far as what type, you have a lot of option. If you like the stock exhaust note with all the pops and gurgles then Id recommend a B&B turbo back or Exahust Depot turbo back. Both are 3" in diameter and can be equipped easily with a 3" 02 housing. If you want a more low que exhaust note then I've heard good things about the Perrin turbo back system.

Yeah but in his case he's not gonna want that stupid 2.25" bottle neck that most downpipes have. Just buy a full 3" turboback and you'll get better flow. Plus a lot of times you can buy a full turboback for cheaper than buying the dp and catback separate. Exhaust Depot has a full 3" turboback for $625 on special.
