Its never bad to run a wideband it just helps you monitor the afr's I dont know the exact setup of the perrin but if there is a cat delete it will usually have one preinstalled bung for the O2 as for the wideband when you order that it comes with its own bung in the kit for the extra sensor. Some cat delete pipes already have both with the option to close the secondary. If there is a cat there will be one for sure but usually not an additional it required drilling and welding of the second.

As for the codes.. you should be able to change you exhaust without any code issues that I am aware of.

Hope this helps!

Yea you could just put the widebandin the original hole but I think you will throw a code if you have stage 0 due to the pcm not reading o2 anymore. I have stage 1 and don't through any codes. My wideband o2 is in the bung at the cat. and I left the factory o2 sensor hooked up (if youunplug the sensor it will through a code)and just zip tied it out of the way.

well i got the 05 factory stage 1 and i am going to buy the perrin tb but idk about throwing codes, and dont know if that exhaust has bung holes for wideband so i was seeing if i could just throw it in the bung hole provided in the exhaust and see if that would work?

I have the factory to the origional hole in the cat delete and the wideband to the hole that I added. I just followed the directions there is alot of ways to do it. the mod is easy just drill and weld. I paid someone to do it I think I paid 30 or so

It will work! just leave the factory sensor connected to the pcm and zip tie it out of the way. stage 1 no longer reads that o2 sensor but it will through a code if unpluged.install your widband sensor in that bung and your done! this is the way mine is done no codes thrown.
