i hear this awful noise when i turn the heater on after i start up the car. just noticed yesterday, thought it was wierd but then it happened again. if i leave the heater on or turn it on after a cold warm up it makes a noise like a grumbling noise, and tonight i could feel it strain the engine possibly bad enough that it was felt sitting in the car and people outside my car could hear the noise 15 feet away. any ideas?

 

well I get a noise too everytime I turn on my a/c or heater, but I'm pretty sure its because of my mm...and its only for sec, after that the steering wheel shakes like crazy.My buddies car used to do the same thing, and he didnt have mms....

 

I've hear a rattling sound in my heater sometimes when I turn it on, and it goes faster when I turn it to more speed. First I imagined a mouse juming around in the airvents hahah. But when I have the heater in top speed for a couple of seconds, it goes away.

 

yeah, when first turning onthe fan motor it does it in my car as well (think it does it a/c or heat). probably just some belt or something getting started

 

sounds like blower motor to me i had the same problem with my ACCORD

 

well that was a honda... so u should have expected something like that.. hahaah
