My '04 didn't have the 90 degree bend in the plug wires, so they began to break down after 1500 miles. The MSDs took care of that, plus they send a better spark to your plugs. The heat shield will make it bulletproof, like RR said.

good to know.
Is the borla exhaust much different than the stock since it is already mufflerless?
nice car DL. If I get my SRT-4 (probably orange) I'm going to order a stage 3 kit for it right away. 300hp, 300lb/ft torque w/ 100 octane fuel. Also a cold air intake.
I didn't know mopar had diff. taillights, looks good

Good to hear
I heard that people with sunroofs (in their neon) had issues w/ it
That may have been an older one
I really like the seats in the SRT-4. supportive, but firm to the point you don't want to forget taking your wallet out of your back pocket. haha
My kinda seat.

Thanks! The Mopar/Borla exhaust has just one resonator verses two on the stock system.

Naturally, it's louder than the stock system, but not loud enough to attract the cops. It also offers less restriction on the back flow, being smoother in its bends and curves.

The Stage 3 may not be available until late this year or early next year, and if history is any indication, orders may not be filled for a few months after that...its going to be a major mod, you might want to wait till any bugs are worked out....

Mine is an '04 and like dusty's mine was straight on #4 and didn't have the 90 degree bend in it.

The Borla exhaust is made from a better grade of SS, as well as having one resonator instead of two it is also 1/4" larger than the stock exhaust. The exhaust tips are also nicer looking and larger as well. Good luck on getting Stage 3 when it comes out.

RR is right on about the tips, they "fill out" the cut outs in the body much better than the stock tips....

cool

maybe its a good idea to wait for a bit w/ the stage 3. [sm=goodidea.gif] One of the dodge dealers i visited printed off the mods list from mopar.ca (i'm canadian)
Did you get the exaust through mopar, the dealer or elsewhere. how much?
I may want to get it for now instead of the stage 3. Does it include a Hi-flow cat?
