The Mopar/Borla exhaust will run you about $330 plus shipping from a variety of dealers on eBay to www.modernperformance.com

It's a Cat Back system with high quality SS tubing, I love mine and haven't heard any bad things about it.

i talked to the dealer today and he said the orange wasn't going to cost extra which is good. i haven't talked to him about the performance mods (stage 1 or 3) he may not want to hear that just yet[sm=smiley26.gif]

The Borla exhaust does not have a high flow cat with it since it is a cat-back, which means that it replaces everything behind the cat and not the cat itself. And the Charger is looking pretty frickin' hideous and there are currently 2 completely different looking pictures of it floating around. One looks like a 300 with the Magnums nose on it and the other looks like a Crossfire with an ugly crosshair grill on the front.[:'(]

My dealer (salesman) mentioned Stage 1 when he was trying to sell me the SRT-4, but got quiet(!) when I questioned him about any warranty claims with Stage 1 in place. They want your money for the mod itself, they just don't like having to fix it.....

No. Any and all problems or failures that are caused by the Stage 1 or any other added performance parts are not covered under the vehicles warranty and neither is any and all failures of any stock parts as a result of the added performance parts failure. However, if a part fails or breaks down and it's failure is not caused by any of your added performance parts, then it is covered by the vehicles warranty. For more detailed info on this subject just click on this link to the Mopar catalog and go to page 4 paragraph 3 for the full explanation: http://www.mopar.com/StreetCatalog.pdf

This is where the fun starts....Like RR said, if the dealer can show the mod (Stage 1) caused the failure, you end up footing the bill. How they would go about that is beyond me. So far, I've stuck with Mopars mods on "critical" parts and had the dealer install the parts I wasn't familiar with. I also buy the mechanics breakfast tacos and treat the service writer with respect....sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.....

aha, so putting on a big mod like sgtage 3 is a risk i have to take.
I just assume that since its a mopar upgrade, mopar would have tested it and found it safe for the srt-4. I knew that mopar's mods have no warranty but i did not know that it could affect the srt-4's warranty

It depends on the dealer in the end. Mine didn't blink an eye over my mods when they replaced the air intake sensor. I have the extended warranty too, and the possibility of "throwing away" that money made me very careful what I put on my car.
