I noticed a little bit about these cars and it make sme wonder about my cars previous history. Okay I have a 2004 srt4 is anyone elses valvecover red because mine is and I wanna know if thats supposed to be like that,because my boys 2005 srt4 is just straight silver.

Most mods to SRT-4s work better with a modded exhaust. If yours is still stock, chances arethe engine is still mostly stock. Some folks just like to powder coat their valve covers for some extra "bling"........

If there are no obvious changes to the car as far as turbo mods, intake mods, or exhaust mods, and you're still really wondering, you can put it on a dyno and check the hp and torque numbers compared to a bone stock SRT-4 (don't worry about a few numbers difference)
