Ricer Reaction to a SRT-4
On my way home from work today, I pulled into a 7-11 type store for some football munchies. Parked right in front of the store in the "fire lane" was a Type R (a least that's what the multi-colored decals all over said) I decided to have a little fun with the idiot (not only does he own a rice box, he's in a fire lane as well) and parked my SRT-4 in such a way that it's nose was about 2 inches from the Type R's nose. He could still get the car out, but it would take some work.....
I go in the store just as the guy is coming out and his eyes widen a bit because I'm still in uniform. As he goes to step off the curb, he spots my SRT-4 in front of his car and almost falls down! He then proceeds to slowly walk around my car and his girlfriend gets out of the Type R and joins him as well. They are standing in the back and I can almost read their lips...Him: "Who's car is this?" Her: "That cop that just went in the store." Him: "Think he's going to give me a ticket?" Her: "I dunno, he parked awfully close to you." Him: "What's he doing driving this kind of car, anyway? He's a cop!!"
Yeah kid, and we don't drive Crown Vics as personal vehicles, trust me......[sm=smiley36.gif]

It was all bluff. I never write tickets off duty, my ticket book stays at work in my locker!!

From the way he acted, it was one of his first views of "the enemy" (the SRT-4, not me) close up....they both went back and sat in the car and waited for me to come out and drive away so they could leave....

hahahahaha funny[sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif] ... r u allowed to give traffic tickets even if your not is your cop car, and out of work?? just wondering!!!! one time i was pulled over by a crime strike guy in some apartments, just cause he wanted to check out my car, it was the first one he had ever seen and he was real curious about it, this was about a 1 1/2 year ago.. i had about one week with my srt, it was really funny cause i went to pick up this chick and as soon as she saw the guy that looked like a cop she went right back to her appartment, LMAO whe she found out it was a crime strike. thinks like that its what makes me proud of driving my srt...
