Default #4 Plug Wire on 2005's

I notice that the 2005 SRT-4 #4 plug wire comes out at a 90 degree angle, away from the turbo. The other wires are still the same though. Looks like DCX finally got the word...

Cool, i'm gonna trade in my 04 for and 05 because I want that wire!J/K. I wonder how much a set would cost or if they would replace ours for free? Mine is pretty white also.

I'm going to call and ask. If they say OK, I'll take off the MSDs, put the stock ones on, get the new set, come home and switch em' out again....I'll keep the new stock set as a spare....IF they say "yes"......

At least they changed it mid year. That's cool. I'm gonna give them a call and see if they will do that tomorrow. In fact when I go to get my oil changed I'll ask them. Chances are they probably don't have them in stock but it won't hurt to ask.

Not a bad idea, replaceing the originals (even if you have msd's...). If it's on Dodge, it couldn't hurt to have an exra set.(although they don't perform as well as the upgraded ones) But good to have, nonetheless.

there's a tsb on the plugs for cars that came with the straight boots. just go to your dealer and they will replace the wires if you so desire.

the 03's are what started the problem. it can take some time for it to develop, so don't feel left out just yet! some don't see it until 10k, others see it as early as 1k.

i started to see some white on my wires at about 3k, so i just changed them out for a set of msd's and haven't had a problem yet. i also have the coil pack heat shield from bdj's, so i shouldn't see the problem ever again
