do you feel comfortable with the idea of letting the dealer know about your modification
why not get a different ecu from a different company than mopar that way the dealer will never be able to tell

even if you order from a private company, that company has to order through a dcx dealership. there are no private sales of the stage kits. i know which dealership most companies use, and i just do directly to them to make life easier. either way, there is a record of you ordering a stage kit through dcx.
also the dealer will know if you have a stage if they have half a brain. when you plug an obd into a staged car there is a specific code that pops up. we don't see it in our checks, and it won't cause a check engine light, but it's there in the ecu.
so either way, dcx knows about you ordering a stage. and even if you buy it used and reflash, they know as soon as they plug in the odb.

everyone can get deals on parts, you just have to know the right people
for anyone interested, if you need to buy mopar parts, the best place to go is rick hendrick jeep chrysler. their website is moparsupercenter.com. this is not really a secret, but many people forget about them when they need to order parts and only go to the aftermarket companies thinking that they'll get better prices.

might i ask why? they don't have everything listed on their site, it is still under development. if there's something that you need thats not on the site, just call them. you're better off calling anyway, you get better prices. ask for jeff.

Don't forget, those kits are "illegal for use on pollution controlled cars."[sm=idontcare.gif]
