After that many miles, you should see a difference in how easy it is to shift the gears.........

Welcome to the SRT family! Dusty hit on maintenence being a MUST with these cars. take care of it and it will do the same for you. I would also recommend you add an Oil Catch Can.

Changing the Tranny Fluid is very easy and you will notice it will be smoother. I have seen the Mopar ATF +4 at walmart, but the delaership is the only place I have seen carry the friction modifier additive. The car also eats plugs for breakfast. You should keep an eye on the coolant level as well, it likes to sip on coolant a little bit.
Depending on how hard the car may or may not have been driven, you might want to check up on the brakes.

as for the boost levels, as Dusty said, they are kept low in 1st. anywhere between 14-15 holding and as high as 17 spiking can be expected in other gears. although the weather factors can play a rather large role in this.

Thanks for the help...and the warm reception you have given me here. It is much appreciated. Trans fluid will be changed, tomm. probably and my brakes are in good shape, car was driven very nicely, not hard, some old man 50+ owned the thing...The plugs were changed out around 20,000 miles and I'm at 23,000 right now. I do use Mobil-1 and that has always been done, at proper times.

Q: Is there problems with the Mopar Blow off valve(Blue plate), mine when on fine and works fine too?

If you plan on running more than stock boost I would take it off and buy a "real" bov ..... if not it's fine I would just seal it with rtv.

I will use some highh-temp rtv on it, should I put it on both the BOV side and gasket side?

I will be sticking with just stock boost for now, however I am in need of where I can find a K&N drop in
filter for the airbow? Know where I can find a good deal on one?

With the K&N filter, will I get a better MPG or HP gain? If so how much?

Thanks again for all your help!!!

Ya I would do both sides.........K&N drop in from k&n.com or any performance shop around you .......better MPG and HP will be minimal, but it will be there.

Ok, thanks the the info. friend. It will be done. I dont really want to remove the whole stock airbox and such unless there was a very noticeable difference in both MPG and HP...

Either K&N.com like burnnout said or modernperformance.com, <--- remember this site!!! Best deals around, fast shipping, great company to do business with!
