Motor mounts and lots of practice..........try 2000 to 2200 rpm's and go from there.

2000 is to high i think, i would start from around 1000. my bestlaunches come from a lil above 1500, maybe 16-1700. try playing with the air pressure also.

 

....don't forget to refill your tires........

2000 works good for me. you have to slip the clutch though don't just pop it.

 

Same way I do it. Works for me too.

 

I think i started doing it that way because psichick said something like that if your not on slicks. I never get to full throttle though in 1st. i just ease into it all the way to 5500 shift to 2nd and then floor it wot shift the rest of the gears. 34 psi in the front tires.

 

yea, thats why i said 2000 was to high for me. i just get a nice lil bark at 1700 or so. i know some ppl who take off at just above idle.

 

If you launch from idle you're going to loose a lot of time.....

 

get some agp motormounts an agp trannymount,newdesign electronics tcs,bwoodyperformane tractonbars w/h-brace,stage 1 springs stock tires and yur good to go and launch at 3
