Default wrong filter!!!

well, last week i went to the dealership to get the oil filter, btw my srt was allready on 2 wheels and without oil or filter. as i get back with the filter from the dealer, guess what??? yup!!! wrong filter, so i went back and the part department was allready close, this was around 6:00pm on a weekday, so as you imagine i was pissed off, so i went to the nearest autozone and got the mobile 1 to match the oil (5w 10) BTW has anybody thought about putting royal purple in the srt-4???

The Mobil 1 filter is a better filter anyway. Fram makes most of the Mopar filters and they've had some QC issues according to the websites that watch that sort of stuff....

Don't know that much about Royal Purple or Redline for that matter. I use either Mobil 1 or Amsoil, depending on my mood....

As a former Kart racer, we turned our Briggs 5 horse motors a 7200 rpm (Engineered to turn 3500 RPM). Red Line save my butt a couple of times. It coats the Motor, so if you have a sudden loss of oil (forgetting to put the oil cap on after a change).

Personally I prefer WIX filtes.

Actually I didn't drag race. That is for kids. I turned left and right. Here is a picture. I am #13.

sorry for the double picture. We would run at speeds between 50 and 70 mph depending on the track. That is pretty fast when your butt is only a 1/2 inch off the ground and there is no seat belt or roll cage.

I have two for sale! We use the same motor as the dragsters, but I believe they are aloud to do more mods to them.
