I am having a shop put a 50 trim kit on my car.... The dyno time a this shop is 250 an hour and at another its only 140 so i want to drive it to the cheaper dyno....I don not have the money for an exhaust yet so i am still runnin stock....will it be driveable without it being taken to the dyno and should i wait to dyno til i put on exhaust?? Should i get any new guages?? and what is a good clutch to run with this setup?? Thanks for the help!!

Dyno is not a must. You can always street tune it, but dyno tunning is a lot better.I say tune it, dyno or street...whatever...but get it tuned. Its not safe to run with a big turbo without a good tune.Gaugue wise...I say get a wideband, you wont regreat it.I got the ACT clutch from RageTek.Its pretty good, grips great and its light...call rage tek and ask them.

i always prefer street tuning over dyno tuning. get a good street tune on there and you'll be fine. if you want to fine tune it on the dyno after that then go ahead, but it's not completly necessary. and 250 a hour for dyno tuning, well they're just on crack.

you street tune by doing some 3rd gear pulls and adjusting fuel until you get it in the range that you want. it helps if someone is in the car with you or if you have a datalogger so you can reference. kinda hard to do it on your own.

you use your wideband to know what your a/f's are, then you pull fuel with your fc until you're in the range you want.
