I'm new to the forum and I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I've got a new thread related to this particular thread. Anyways - I've been looking into wga's and I'm unsure as to what I should get.. do I need to buy a boost controller as well as a wga - I already have an aftermarket BOV and I'm just curious as to what you guys/gals think is the best deal performance wise. I'm a fairly new srt 4 owner so all comments are welcome =2

it will drop to whatever you have the wga set at. if you want to hold more boost then you need a boost controller. but on the stock fuel system you can't really go past 16psi holding

What are the other mods on your car ? ..... On a stock turbo theboost controller is going to be what you set the spike with and the WGA is what you use to set what psi you are going to hold. If you have no fuel mods I wouldn't use a boost controller I would just use the WGA and set it to 16. If you don't have a staged ecu when you are hitting 18psi you are overboosting.

even without fuel mods a mbc is a good benefit. when running just a wga you tend to get more boost creep and a stronger drop off.

Hmm... I had no problem with holding 16psi with my AGP wastegate, but the boost creep makes sense.
