i have the sbracing wastegate and i was wonderin if my wga is bad because when i spike my boost to 18,it will drop quickly to bout 14,is that a wga peoblem?
I'm new to the forum and I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I've got a new thread related to this particular thread. Anyways - I've been looking into wga's and I'm unsure as to what I should get.. do I need to buy a boost controller as well as a wga - I already have an aftermarket BOV and I'm just curious as to what you guys/gals think is the best deal performance wise. I'm a fairly new srt 4 owner so all comments are welcome =2
it will drop to whatever you have the wga set at. if you want to hold more boost then you need a boost controller. but on the stock fuel system you can't really go past 16psi holding
i have a boost controller, and my wastegate will go to bout 18 and drop quickly to about 14 sometimes 13.does that mean the wga is bad or not good enough,im new to the turbo world,so i really dont know
What are the other mods on your car ? ..... On a stock turbo theboost controller is going to be what you set the spike with and the WGA is what you use to set what psi you are going to hold. If you have no fuel mods I wouldn't use a boost controller I would just use the WGA and set it to 16. If you don't have a staged ecu when you are hitting 18psi you are overboosting.
i have stge1,turboback,c.a.i,slowboyracingwastegate,and turboxs mbc,so what ur sayin is adjust it to the psi i want with the wga and then us the mbc to spike pounds
