When my air intake sensor popped off a month ago, there a light film of oil inside that part of the tubing as well.....

Thanks RoadRunner, that explanation helped me out! That was the way I was assuming the occ was supposed to be installed, just wanted to be sure. Should be put on my car over the weekend if the weather is bad and I can't go fly.

Your more than welcome![sm=smiley20.gif] I try to help out the best that I possibly can. I hope you can get it on, after your first day of driving you will see the oil in the OCC, it appears so quick that it is kinda scarry. Especially if you've been driving it quite a while without an OCC, then you wonder just how much has gotten into the rest of the intake system where it doesn't belong.[:@]

Well i have only been driving without a catch can for like a month or two...so i will be installing mine tomorrow....thanks for all the tips on installation, i just am not sure where i am going to put it yet!

The most common is attaching it to the A/C lines on the passenger side with zip ties, that's where mine is as well as many others on here.
