what have been you expirences with racing againt and ls1 camaro.............and don't lie

 

A guy I work with has one and he has only basic bolt ons and gears.......when I was stock he pulled on me pretty bad....when I was stage 2 it was a good race from a roll.......now I'm big turbo and pull on him pretty bad.

 

yea if your srt4 is stock then the ls-1 will pull you pretty hard. you can take lt-1's though

 

ya i use to get pulled when i was stock... but once the big turbo was installed well you know they get pissed off like most of the v-8 cars

 

im next-to-stock, i would probably get romped pretty hard by an LS1

i raced a Z28 camaro...looked like a 97-99 model...it sounded nice...good exhaust camming...i have all my mods inmy sig but im not staged....i jumped him by a car in first and second...then i slowly walked away from him from there to 120 when we finally quit and i got a ticket lol...but i won...it was a good race...idk if it was a lt1 or ls1...it was probly lt1 judging from these comments..

 

ran one while stock at 13 psi...dude owned a new 5.7 gto...beat him from a roll and dig, maybe he was just a bad driver

Hey everyone.... brand new to the forums, i found this post interesting because i just traded in my 98 ls1 trans am for a 05 SRT-4,

i had a borla catback and lid on the ls1 and ran a 13.8 at the track....

my new 05 srt-4 at 16.5 psi boost and cold air intake took it at 13.4....

both days were about 68-70 degrees....

 

I dont understand they yall cant beat stock ls1s....i have some light mods, wastegate,stage1,3indownpipe, STS, and i took A Lightning by a car lastnight from 0-80,and im having major backfire problems also...
