Winter + SRT-4 = ?
Yeah living in MI. like I do, I get a refresher course every November whether I want one or not, and the engine warm ups are mandatory as you cant see out the window till the engine starts making enough heat to defrost it anyway. LOL Everything just sloooowwws down.
Mine has one more season of a warm winter, then it's off to the Rockies only to be traded in on a truck.......

-Mandy-Yeah but you should try to get some steel rims to sacrifice instead of your nice aluminums.
-PSI - I wish I could really do that and this year I plan on driving my truck more, but the truck is old and a little scary and I'll probably end up driving the Neon more than I'd like. I really need to throw some money at the truck.

be prepared to spin out a lot and to drive slow with patience because these things absolutely SUCK in the winter. learning from experiences last year, im going to keep my srt in the garage as much as possible.

So are the stock 17" wheels ok with a good set of snow tires?

as for the car warming up properly. id just say to let it idle a coule minutes to get the oil circulating. just dont go spooling up as soon as you pull out of your driveway. ripping on a cold motor is rather bad for it. not to mention with those skinny *** snow tires youll just be tearing valuable tread off trying to rip on the car. with winter tread youll have to be restrained a little more (even when the roads arent bad)

no doubt, my first winter i tried the 'not drive it much' idea. but the two or three times i drove it in snow... it was scary. the damn thing could barely drive across a parking lot, let alone safely make it anywhere
