Default Turbo cutting out??

Hello i drive a 04' Red SRT4 in Nor-Cal......

So i know how to drive my srt4 very well, i've hit a 14.0 flat in the quarter mile with only intake and blowoff valve.
But after a while my turbo has been "putting out" or almost pulling back and kicking when i try to boost all the way (i boost at 15 pounds...)...
Anyone know why this might be happening?

(by the way i go to Sacramento Race Way....

well, not to be a downer but a 14.0 stock isn't being able to dirve "very well", it's average. high 13's are typically what good times are considered.

back to the question - sounds like spark blow out. change your plugs and wires.

When exactly is this cutout happening. It sounds like spark blow out.

Lately mine will hesitate between 3100 and 3450RPM's. I've had the spark blow out before and am now running a .038 gap and NGK irdms. which hasresolved that problem. Now I get a similar feel (but less severe) between the above mentioned RPM's. I am getting full boost and the issue clears up after 3500 RPM's and is smooth sailing after that.

Any ideas???

BTW. This happens at low RPM's in a high gear. (say the bottom of 3rd and/or 4th.) once boost gets up it studders then clears up. it does hold boost though. So I'm not thinking it's a boost leak.

Msd packs don't suck.... they just do the same thing the stock one does for a higher price.

actually they do suck. they work just the same but they fail after a while. not worth the risk.

Here is another question; does anyone know how the solenoid and the pink line operate the stock forge or boomba BOV's? does it only allow vac when it wants then lets the piston close again right away? They seem to sound sloppy.(lots of compressor surge/turbo sound) I can only get a clean hiss at over 11psi... it seems as if they close too soon. mine is always shut unless actuallyreleasing. then it shuts againright away. I'm curious if hookingitto a "real" vac line may improve the way they work. or maybe using a weaker spring. (13lb is in it now)I only question 'cus I've seen other (Tial) valves which are open until boosted then they close. then let off or clutch then they are fully open again until under boost again. (??)
