I had the oppurtunity to attend a club meet in Cincinnati this past weekend. It was great. Several SRT-4 owners, all posting on the other forum though. Thought I ran into Andybuzz for a minute when this guy told me about his aftermarket turbo and *** racing head and stuff running high 11's. He was cool though. Everybody was really freindly actualy, lots of old 80's muscle. Real impressed with a street driven Omni GLH running 10'9-11.1 all day without NOS. I also got to smoke a new GTO on the way home pulling away all the way to 150.

 

Sweet!! I had an SRT-4 Meet here in Rhode Island on Saturday, about 25 people showed up, give or take a few, some couldn't stay, we were at the park from 11am-530PM having a BBQ and eating cake, doing burnouts, grass skiing (lol) etc, then a few of us went and got some sushi, then headed off to Dave & Busters until 1 in the morning. No one from here was there though, I don't know of any other SRT RI members besides Paul and I. Its lonely in RI lol!
Smoked a new GTO eh??? What mods you packin under that hood of yours?

 

i raced an SRT4 with my SRT4 and got smoked, then I got pulled over for 89 in a 50, bleh. I guess i should start doing some mods. GTO is pushin about 350hp, you must have a lot of stuff under yer hoodie.

You guy's crack me up. I never thought of the 04 GTO as anything special. They only run 13.6's with a stick and 13.9's with the auto. Now we only ran from 80 to 150 and I didn't beat him real bad, but a win is a win. All it takes is stage 2.

 

Did you come flying up on him then right befor you pass he or she down shifted and thats why you beat him??[8D]

 

I can see how he'd smoke him from a roll.....I smoked a mustang Cobra from a Roll at about 65-70mph a few weeks before I crashed my baby. Its not that big of a win, but their torque bands aren't as good as ours. Hee hee still a nice kill anyhow.

 

Ya my brother has a GTO and he is always knocking the srt-4 .....he says that its a little piece of **** and this and that but i have never raced him, i am a little scared.. haha, anyways all i have is OCC, BOV, ....and i am installing the cold air intake and MSD wires this weekend....so i think i will get beat, but let me know

 

Hey Blackey04, How about keeping your dumbass sarcastic questions to yourself. You apparently don't know what your talking about. If I'm running 13.5's and they run 13.6 to 13.9's, while are you giving me lip. Is it really that hard for you to understand.

 

He can knock the SRT-4 all he wants....but you save 16,000 dollars, that he spent on something that looks like a glorified grand am!!! Catch him from a roll, then eat him for dinner with your "Neon". A little piece of **** ey?? I never met a Pontiac I liked. These SRT-4 engines are killer!!! They can handle damn near anything you throw at them. One of my friend's engines caught fire, cause he installed his intake wrong and grounded his battery, so hes running with no intake whatsover, swapped out his 04 turbo for an 03 stock turbo, and hes running nitrous on stage 0 with a Mopar BOV, his car runs like nothing ever happened to it..... Show him what you "little piece of ****" can do.
