i have to drive it only car i have,. last winter it was covered in snow, couldn't even see it for a week. when i was able to get in, ha no chance of driveing in 1 inch of snow and and 1 inch of ice on top if that. funny thing was, my boss was stuck at home cause his WRX had the wrong tires on it and he couldn't get any traction. i actually laughed at him when he told me. he just shook his head and siad he felt ashamed. so yes barrin a damned snow storm i'll be driving it. rain is no problem, since in oregon it rains all the time.
I am driving mine this winter.....just got it a little while ago didnt have it last winter so....we'll see, michigan winters are only bad for about a month..... december no snow.... mid january snow til mid february.... mostly michigan winters are just cold as hell
Stage 1 is great, theres people who keep that PCM all the way through, like Jean a chick from Mass whos in the low 12s running with the Stage 1 PCM with an ATP Turbo. And the pricing depends on where/how you get it. Used/New makes a big difference. If you do find it used though you need to reflash it.
I have to drive both of my cars this winter. I would NOT recommend attempting to drive it on the stock tires at ALL! If you can afford snow tires, or all-seasons I'd DEFINITELY put them on the car. I took my Miata out last night in the snow we got here (theres a few inches on the ground here in RI). I shouldn't have taken it out though....RWD with summer tires, and a few huge bags of concrete in the trunk. I had to push it up my driveway, but I got it home okay driving really slow. Though I did see a NASTY 7 car accident happen right in front of my face! [:-] THAT was scary. But yeah don't use the stock tires in the snow. Mine's gonna be out in the snow too, as is Ben's SRT (Bruins013) he puts his stock rims back on. Mine will have rims on it, I'm not as rich as Ben LOL! J/k hunn

The BFGoodrich KDW-2's, the second KDW BFG has, is Key points Wet, Dry traction. They're 3 season tires...NOT meant for the snow AT ALL. If your gonna take it out in them, be careful....cause its not gonna be fun.
I had a foot of snow last year! the car did not move for more than a week. It goes alright in the snow, but acts like a plow more than a car with 2 inches of snow. I just bought studless snow tires 215/40/17 at 175$ per tire. no snow so I have not tried them. Tires work better on wet roads.

yup i have snow tires on my stock rims and its just about time to put them on which sucks cause they suck for dry traction with the power...gotta crank the boost down a bit...

I'm drivin' mine only cause there isn't any snow in hell. Errr, uh I mean in the desert of California... If by some freak of nature it does ever snow here, it is like not even an inch and it melts when it hits the ground so, no worries plus, we have 2 trucks to drive if heaven forbid we get a freakish snow storm.
