Is the SRT-4 a neon?
My insurance company says the opposite, they could'nt find it under SRT-4, but they found it under Neon SRT-4. I dont have my owners card or new insurance card yet but what does your owners card say? Dodge SRT-4 or Dodge Neon SRT-4?
My old insurance card just said "Dodge". My new insurance card says "Dodge Neon SRT-4".....insurance company is USAA.

Bruins013,
We may have to call this a draw. I have not looked at any '03s; but on all the '04s and '05s that I have seen the big block letters at the top of the sticker say "Neon SRT-4". I don't have a window sticker here to take a pic (hell, I don't even have a SRT-4 to take a pic.[sm=sigh.gif] Maybe they changed the sticker format for 2004 and newer.
Here is a link to a window sticker for a car that is located at a dealer in Cumming, GA.
Blue SRT-4
The dealers webpage might try and close the window on you. If your computer asks you if you want to close the window...click on "NO".
I don't know why we are even wasting our time with this crap. [sm=badidea.gif]
No matter what we call it, it is still the best performance car out there for the money.[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]

[sm=forgetit.gif] OK, that link doesn't seem to work from this forum...you'll just have to take my word for it unless you want to do a google on Troncalli Dodge in Cumming, GA and then search their inventory for SRT-4s until you get to look at the window stickers.
I did just notice something pretty funny, though. Go back to the DF home page and scroll down and read the link you must click to get here. [sm=imsorry.gif]

I did not mean to start any fights or arguments. I was just curious and wanted to see what people thought. In truth the only thing that matters is what you like and what the car does. I would drive a Yugo that looked and performed like the SRT-4, even if every sticker, badge and label on the car said Yugo.
That is kinda what I thought, I look at Dodge daytonas as a slow POS, but I had an 86 Daytona CS, that was turbo intercooled, suspension, tires, and body kit, all from stock.

The SRT-4 is a Neon. It just happens to be a turbocharged and intercooled Neon with a far better suspension, wheels, tires, interior, exterior, ect. It's just like how the Trans AM is a Firebird, Z28, SS, RS, Iroc are Camaros, Grand National, GNX are Regals, STi's are Impreza's, EVO's are Lancers and so on.

No problem, casper. I don't think any of us are reaching that stage yet. You brought up an interesting question and it has naturally created some discussion. What makes it more interesting is the fact that there are apparently two different versions of window stickers being used on the cars. It would really be interesting to know why that is happening.
Does anyone know for sure if the window stickers are all printed at the factory or if they are done at the regional distributer? I remember when I bought my 2003 Camry I wanted the dealer to add a rear spoiler and fender splash guards; but they weren't in stock at the dealership. I paid for them with the car and, about a week later, a mobile installer from Toyota came to my house an installed them. Then, he went into the back of his van and printed me a new window sticker that showed those items. The new window sticker he printed was exactly like the one that was on the car originally except for those options and the adjusted price. Up until then, I always thought that the window sticker was only done at the factory. If Dodge does the same thing, there is a possibility that different software at the point of printing could explain why some say Neon Srt-4 and others don't.
Oh well, I'm going to buy one anyway...I just can't decide on a color yet.
