Ok on my sticker it says 2005 Model Year SRT-4 and further down it says again. Dodge SRT-4. But on the letter the dealer gave me for my first oil change to be free it says. Model Neon SRT-4 My insurance card says 05 Dodge Neon SRT-4. I have Geico and they did it off the vin. She even told me what my car had on it.

No problem, casper. I don't think any of us are reaching that stage yet. You brought up an interesting question and it has naturally created some discussion. What makes it more interesting is the fact that there are apparently two different versions of window stickers being used on the cars. It would really be interesting to know why that is happening.

Does anyone know for sure if the window stickers are all printed at the factory or if they are done at the regional distributer? I remember when I bought my 2003 Camry I wanted the dealer to add a rear spoiler and fender splash guards; but they weren't in stock at the dealership. I paid for them with the car and, about a week later, a mobile installer from Toyota came to my house an installed them. Then, he went into the back of his van and printed me a new window sticker that showed those items. The new window sticker he printed was exactly like the one that was on the car originally except for those options and the adjusted price. Up until then, I always thought that the window sticker was only done at the factory. If Dodge does the same thing, there is a possibility that different software at the point of printing could explain why some say Neon Srt-4 and others don't.

Oh well, I'm going to buy one anyway...I just can't decide on a color yet.
The window stickers come from the factory with the vehicle to my knowledge. At least when I looked at the vehicles off the truck the sticker was sitting in there. Dealers are given this little additional sticker piece that they can add parts onto. It its a narrow rectangular piece thats just as long as the original sticker. It has a small gas mileage thing up at the top, and then a big white space with another parts content reading on the bottom. This is NOT from the factory. Anything that is on that list was added at the dealership. But I can promise you, that stuff like Ventshades, Tails, grilles, Brush Guards, Bugflectors, Bed rails, lug locks, side steps, nerf bars, etc ARE ALL ADDED AT THE DEALERSHIP! The dealership spices up vehicles so people will say OOooOOOoo look at you little Dodge Rammie I want YOU cause of your sexy chrome bugflector and nice Chrome nerf bars! There are packages you can order from the "factory" like that, but the parts come in, and are installed at the dealership themselves.

Bla bla bla bla bla ANYWHO! I can get you the base prices for all those parts, at "dealer cost" then you can say look biatch....take a look at this. And you could possibly pay a bit more for that black 04 with the fake dyno sheet that wouldn't even match up with an 03 unless some asshat was driving it, and already have some parts installed.

Oh and I can settle that color problem for you...BLACK! (whispers or silver)

I think that my car came from the Factory like it is. It has everything you could get on it if you ordered it.

The only options available for an SRT-4 FROM the Factory are as follows:

1. Sunroof with Passenger Assist Handles and automatic open (around $700)
2. Side Impact Airbags (mounted in the side of the seats changing the seats from Viper seats to regular neon seats) (around $390)
3. IF you got the SIAirbags, you would recieve a -$50 "seat delete" credit, for not having the Viper Seats.
4. Kicker Livin Loud System: 6-disc in dash changer w/additional CD slot above, with Kicker interior speakers and a 10" Kicker self-powered sub located in the trunk. (Around $795)

NOTHING else comes from the factory. I repeat...NOTHING! Those are the only options available for the 04-05 SRT-4s. The 03s DID NOT have a sun-roof option

the sun roof does not "open all the way"...

And for crying out loud... it's a neon... with a different motor and a nice turbo added to the package... but who cares??? it moves like a SOB and makes everyone else mad that we have a $20k car that rocks... so leave the "is it a Neon" crap to all the Mustang/Honda/Subaru/V8 owners that lose to our "Neons" hahaha

My insurance company lists my SRT-4 as an SRT-4, but it lists my other cars as their base models names for some reason. Another example of the whole Neon/SRT-4 comparison is my other car, my Roadrunner. The Roadrunner and the GTX are Satellite Sebrings, it's just a matter of being different versions of the same thing. Heck, the Neon also has had many different versions such as Expresso, Highline, R/T, ACR and SXT.

Since the SRT-4 is a very different looking Neon the best comparison that I can think of is the '69 Charger. In '69 there were several versions of the Charger in which most looked the same as all the others, including the SE, R/T, R/T SE, just like all the versions of the Neon, including the SXT and R/T. They both also had one special and very limited version that looks very different from all the other versions, they were also an ultimate version of these cars. The '69 Chargers version was the Daytona and the Neons version is the SRT-4, both are distinguishable from their lesser versions even from great distances.

Here are a few pics to show the obvious differences between the two cars and their models, here's the Neon and the SRT-4:

Ok you said this does this mean that the Roof should open Automatic by pressing the botton once?
