PLUGS
Hey, I seen the question about NGK's so, I thought I'd ask if any of you run SPLIT FIRES or BAUSH PLATINUMS??? If so, how do you like em' and do you recomend em'???

From my own experience, trust me on this, if it dont come with platinum from the factory, DONT use em. The only thing Chrysler motors run good on are Champions, or NGK"S. I see cars come in the dealership all the time with
autolites, bosch, etc. They run like crap. Platinum's advantage is slower gap change over time. They foul if you just look at them the wrong way, and they are expensive. You dont get any more power from them.

Splitfires or most other heavily advertised "miracle HP gains" almost never deliver what they promise. If they did, everyone would be using them. And everyone isn't.
That's right, and that is why I stick to my Champions, I've tried several others and have never noticed a difference. When the 400 in my Roadrunner went south it started oil fouling plugs and the Splitfires did take a little longer to oil foul than the other brands, but they still did eventually foul out.
