I've only lost once and it was due to my own **** poor driving. I ran a modified Talon TSI AWD at the track and I had a usless spinning launch that killed me, but as we approached the end I was pulling him back in. That was too late though, I should have ran the same as him (mid/high-13), but you can't do it if you can't grab and go, I wish I had slicks.[&o]

just for reference, this car is setup like the 01 cobra's... hence, he should have won... just from my experience

long list. suffice to say that german sports car drivers find the srt-4 the bain of their existence at times (j/k(they actually love the car)are impressed when a basically stock"neon passes them.great comments like "what the hell is in that thing" , and like "yeah sure it's stock") lotsa' bimmers, benzes, mustang gt's(cobras soon once the s2... mods are in), ricers(but a few have beat me: ( ), altima se's, spec-v's, 350 z's, 300zxtt's, camaros...

Don't race much, but got beat by a grand national the other day. He had knock offs in the exhaust, so I guess it was tuned, but I really like grand nationals, so I just gave the guy the thumbs up and we both drove off with grins on our faces.

 

They're not all they're cracked up to be. My sister has a 04 Mach 1. She can drive fairly well. It's still not that fast. Granted its faster then the GT. But that's not saying a whole lot either.

 

they r faster than u think...they run like mid 13s stock...my dads auto ran a 13.4 with gears...i'm gonna own him when we race tho [sm=smiley15.gif]

 

Mustang GT's are a warm up for the real deal.
First kill was a Nissan 350Z in a race to the main gate at Fort Sam Houston.
A Mini Cooper "S" was dead by 2-3rd gear.
Cowboys in pickups with dual exhausts are a mass grave.
On the way back home today from my last "freebie" oil change at the dealer's, a black dude in a Honda somethingoranother ragtop cut me off and gave me "the look". I put the new oil in the engine to work and "the look" he got from me was that of the rear end of a SRT-4....

 

Ummm, I raced Timmy in the Wheel Chair... Gramma in the Station Wagon... The other day, I raced Uncle Fester with his Wal-mart Power Cart...
