I haven't raced too many folks in my red neck retirement community of a town, but here are a few of my favourites:
1) A middle-aged fellow in his brand new Z06 'vette...kept neck in neck with him until he hit 6th...didn't know what to think of my poor little neon though...haha 2) An entire import racing club consisting of various civics, crxs, preludes, etc...beat each one of their over-done cars night after night. Not even their precious H22 engines could catch me...
3) A plethora of Mustangs...GTs, Cobras, Mach 1s, even a vintage 429 SCJ...the 429 roasted my *** though...only Mustang that has ever caught me between lights (that's including the '04 Cobras)...gorgeous car....for a Ford...lol
4) Raced a souped up '69 Satelite once...got tooled by his monstrous 440...
5) Destroyed my friend in his mildly modded RSX...literally, I destroyed him...well, uhhh, he kinda destroyed himself...he was so intent on beating me, that he crashed his car trying to catch me...shhhh...don't tell the cops...lol
6) I constantly race my friend Derek and his '02 Civic SiR...he keeps droppin' cash on that thing thinking that one day he'll actually keep up with me...

I would love to have had fun kicking the **** out of a ricer in his POS fart canned Prelude yesterday.[:@] It was in heavy rush hour traffic and I was in a dedicated turn lane to get onto another freeway and he went past me in the lane next to mine when it got the green light and mine was still red and he did the typical ricer fly by and put it in neutral and revved it when he went by me. If it weren't for the bumper to bumper traffic I would love to put him right where I did the last riced up Prelude that did something like that, far behind me.
The saddest part of it is that they only ever do that when they know you cannot do anything about it, unless they are exceptionally stupid like the other Prelude that did that when I could and did do something about it. has anyone raced a turbo 350z? i saw one with turbo badging on the highway 2 days ago and i wanted to mess with him but there was bad traffic. i didnt hear any turbo spooling or bov sounds from him so idk if he actually had it...

I actually Got ahold of a turbo 350z, a guy that was in another club around here. Anyway I'll keep it short. Their much faster than a regular 350z (up to 80mph anyway since my turn was coming up like 1/4 mile after the light) still beat him, but I didn't walk away like I did from the others. he stayed right at my back doors. Note although I ahve no idea what if any mods he had.. so they could be slow as heck, and he just thrown alot of money into it. Or they could be extremly fast and he was a horrible driver lol. So um ya.. nevermind, just my expeirance. ( I accidently posted this in the link RR provided.. WHOOPS misclick)

My buddy shows up with his SS, complaining his headers he just put on were leaking. Already making an excuse. Took him right out of the hole 2 out of 3. Once we hit like 110, he started reeling me in, but he would have needed a mile to catch me. The air was perfect, my car was ferocious. He toasted me on the last run, I wasted first with a nasty wheel hop, grabbed second WOT, pulled up on him, then missed third WOT. It sounded ugly. He was impressed, "wait till I get my drag radials" he said. He hates Mopars.
I don't get into many races around here, most people know what the car is and are afraid to screw with it. Except the cone heads in the Integras, and Civic Si's. Bloodied up a half dozen or so of them since July. There no fun though, I like a challenge.
I tried messing with a newer C5, he wouldn't play. I need to get my car up to NED and get some numbers. That helps when your casing a potentiol victim.
Oh yeah, I forgot, was out on the Cape last July, my car was stock, and got chewed up on the highway by an Turbo Trans Am. It had the Buick GNX motor in it. Aniversary Edition car, I think it was an 89 or so.
