Threw a code.
I took the OCC off before I brought it in to the dealer, and it is still making the sound. It almost feels like when I give a little gas it has a little bog. If it is bogging then the that would be like letting of the gas and the BOV would release. I don't think that it is the BOV, because I can hold between 13 and 15 psi like normal. If the BOV was leaking, I wouldn't be able to do that. Right? Thanks for all of your help. The more ideas the better. If I had loose hoses or vac lines, would I be able hold boos?
Heck, right after I installed S2, I was seeing 20psi. But my trap times sucked. I did a static pressure check, couldn't get past 5psi, my turbo outlet hose was so loose. Tightenend that, then she would get past 12psi. Hot side intercooler hose this time
You don't have Stage 1, do you? If not, your 15psi is high, high enough to suspect boost leaks. And a dealer will never say it's bad, becuase if boost goes above 10psi, the book says good.

It is usually closer to 13psi, and I don't have a stage 1. I am going to bring it to the dealer again. I want them to check the injectors. This would probably be easier to fix myself, but the car has 3000 miles on it, and it should not be broken.
Dude my car is doing the EXACT same thing. in very light acceleration you hear the BOV. it's not the bov i replaced mine with a forge valve and it still does it. My car is at the dealership now they're "researching" it. Hopefully they'll find somethign wrong. They reflashed the PCM with the updated software, changed plugs, and plug wires last time. My dealerships are baffled. At least I'm not the only one having this problem.
The other dealership here in town said, "For all we know it's supposed to make that noise." [sm=icon_beat.gif][sm=smiley21.gif][sm=sigh.gif]

Lets make sure of exactly what we are talking about. Are you saying you hear a faint whoosh sound while you have you foot on the pedal, accelerating? Or that when you lift off the throttle after light acceleration, then you hear it?
See, if you are used to regular BOVs or diverter valves, then this noise would indeed sound different than what you are used to. But not wrong for this car. All other BOVs/diverters are passive, while the SRT-4s is active, with the computer playing with it as you drive.

Believe me the only way you can realize what we're talking about is to see it yourself. Under light acceration at about 10 vac. You hear air circulation from the surge valve. Like you would when it's venting boost when you let off the accerator. At about 10vac something seals up and the boost gauge jumps to about 6 or 4. The car will feel like it gained about 5 hp and everything will start to run very smoothe.
Okay, now we are making progress. If you are in vac, and accelerating, until you make boost, it will indeed make a sound. Being controlled by the computer, it remains open and venting (sucking actually). Give me a short while, there was a gret description of how this sucker works posted by Ethan Bayer, SRT drivetrain engineer. Stand by.
i guess it may be sucking. I never thought of it that way. I am also having the extremely rough idle. It acyually stut off while it was idling in my driveway. Nobody answered my question about this being caused by bad fuel. I tried to siphon it last night, but I could not get the hose down far enough. Now I am driving like a crazy man to burn up the fuel.
