Default Mystery Chime?

Some days when I start my car and start to pull out of my parking space I hear this "ding" two times really quick. Today though I started the car and when I started to pull off I heard the "ding" again but only once. It sounds like the low fuel warning but its not that cause I have a full tank of gas and no fuel light comes on. Whats going on?

I dunno, I've had that happen on my SRT-4several times, usually when I shut it down after a short trip of a mile or less.........I also had plenty of gas and the car is running fine otherwise.

The next time that you hear the chime, look at your gauges to see if one of them is displaying an out of range condition. Such as low oil pressure or low voltage....

Did that as well, oil is always topped off, no leaks, etc. and new battery was put in 3 months ago......it isn't an everyday thing on my car, maybe once a month or so...........what's really weird is that is usually happens in the parking lot of my local grocery store......I just figure it's gremlins.........

Why doesn't our brake light flash or come on then? Thats a weird way of notifying owners that the car has low brake fluid. I'll top it off though and see if it goes away. Thanks PSI.
