Be real with the post. If they still made the SRT-4 Neon I would get one over the Caliber. Gotta go with what they make.

Well, if you're looking for a "sleeper" or a "Q ship" it pretty well fills the bill except for the hood intake. Other than that, I can't see a reason for buying one. The auto magazine write up on it didn't have too much good to say about the handling, but you can probably buy aftermarket items to help correct that...

Yeah.. Well I am going to test drive one first.I like em because they are different. It is possible I may just wait and see what happens. They should have never stopped making the Neon's IMO.

 

Probably one of many reasons that chrysler is now owned by a different group of folks.........

its an ok lookin car but overall i wouldnt get it.. looks lore like a sedan for a family. my overall.. not good

 

I wouldn't ever buy one. It might be ok for a rental car.

 

pros: 6 speed manual. nice seats. nice gauge cluster. 300hp is always a nice thing.

cons: ugly. 19" rims. it's a pig. no lsd, instead it's got that weird and kind of stupid brake lsd thing. it's big. it's still ugly. fwd (it's always a con lol). built-in gtech. still ugly.

unknowns: the new motor. not sure how that will turn out.

 

.....Wise people never buy a first year production vehicle..........too many bugs to work out.
