Carbon fiber is cool, but can you paint them to match the color code of your car?

Do they look ok painted??

Yes they can be painted to match the color code of your car. And they look great painted. Heres an example on an E-blue.

I had heard that they couldn't be painted for some strange reason.....

Ha ha! No problem morning pride. Anything can be painted, when masked and prepped properly, and painted correctly. They look sweet as hell. I had a few more pictures of hoods like that, one was yellow and I had another E-blue, and I have a chopped purple one....but I can't find any of them except the purple one. Thats what I get for having 2k+ pictures of srt-4s lol. Oop!

I found the purple one, its not a CF hood, and its not really painted, thats a photoshop, but its just another way you could paint the hood if you were to get it.

I work for a large dealership chain, and the painters in the body shop have done side work for me before!!!

I just diddn't know that you clould paint Carbon fiber.

Well, it's time to order on now!!!

Sometimes CF doesn't look too bad by itself, but I would most likely paint mine. Plus, it gives you a stealth factor if it's painted, looks stock and weighs less.[sm=ts.gif]

Just found out from my autobody dude that Chrysler wants $1500 for a stock replacement hood...that means FREE carbon fiber hood!! CHA-CHING!! lol
