SRT Calipers
Goodmorning
,I have a question to ask of you SRT forum members, and I hope that you could help me with this.As you know I own a 04 Neon SXT.I want to upgrade my brake system from stock and use a performance system on my brakes.[sm=feedback.gif][:@][sm=feedback.gif]I call and sent email to so many companies, and I also bought the ultimate buyers guide the other day.And that's no luck.Could someone help me out?I am about to pull out what little hair I have on my head[sm=feedback.gif][:@][sm=feedback.gif]
I am a little unsure, but I would say the SRT Calipers would fit...but
- Clearance issues would be a problem, I am sure bigger rims would be needed
- I know that SRT's have upgraded knuckles and such, yours dont..you may have
issues in that area as well.
Sorry, I cant help more than that...othrs..I'm sure will chime in and help...

When I had my 04 SXT I put on the rear SRT-4 brake assembly with no prob, and I had stock 15 inch rims. I don't think that there is an issue with clearance even on the front, as long as you have 15 inch rims you should be okay. I have seen the brake calipers on ebay quite a bit, for the rear if you wanted to have the disc's you would need the whole assembly like I got and put on also found on ebay.
the stock SRT4 front brakes will barely fit into a 15" rim. im running 15 steelies for the winter, dont recall the offset though, but they have just a hair of clearance over the brakes. but youll likely need whole thing out of an srt4 to use the larger srt brakes.
as long as the offset is ok on the 15's it shouldn't be a problem. i have 15x7's with a +35mm for my slicks and i have tons of room between the caliper and the rim. it all depends on the rim really.

For the rears you will need to get the whole setup, disc + calipers + backing plate + and SRT-4 E-brake cables, I think that the ones on the SRT are a bit longer then the SXT ones, the hibs cross over from your SXT to the SRT rear disc brake set up. Just look on Ebay that where I get mine, the fronts should bolt up, you might need the mounting bracket from a SRT for the front. I just did the rear on my SXT before I traded it in for a SRT
