Own a 2003 srt-4 and gotta say i really do love it. You just cant beat the performance for the price..looks good strait off the lot ( actually had people stop and tell me what an awsome job i did on the car and way to show those car manufacturers how a car should be designed LOL), and yea the handling needs work if your going to autoX (what doesnt?) but for the street this thing handles like a dream. Checked out the reviews by car and driver on the motor cross cercuit for manufacturers cars..or whatever not really into autoX. But any way Mopars Stage one car has the stage one of coarse and LSDiff added...and ACR struts; From their review it is owning its class and wuping up on alot of cars above its class. (this includes the STI).</P>


But anyways alot of bickering over STI/SRT-4 on every site. so the STI pulls 13.7 in the 1/4...5 tenths faster wupdy doo. I got no regrets ill stick to my 20K daily driver..and wish everyone quit arguing over sti/srt...both amazing daily driver street cars..if ya want a race car go build an old v8..least then your in the 12's and possibly 11's or tens..and get that great feeling of your vital organs beeing riped out of your chest inside or outside the car when it takes off the line.</P>

I can't stand 4-doors, but the performance of the SRT-4's are undeniable. $21,000+stage-1 upgrade$399= EVO VIII/WRX STI killer and alot of money still in your pocket. I've watched stage-1 SRT-4's doing 13.0-13.2 in the 1/4. I may have to own a 4-door.

 

Hehehe! Four doors aren't bad, I prefer two, but I've seen some outstanding customs on a 4 door... gull wing design, shaved handles, hydraulic pumps to opent he door for you... etc. They may not be cool rolling out of the factory, but some 4 doors can be transformed into outstanding customs.</P>


And back to the SRT, hands down the coolest, fastest "cheap" ride you can buy...</P>

I own an RSX-S 2002... 2 doors... Super Car...</P>


Since the SRT-4 are available(new this year in Canada), I think I'll made the switch next year. Probably with Stage 2 just to feel confortable with my new car. <IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0"></P>

I don't agree with 4 doors looking better than 2 doors... I think it varies depending upon body style...
