The second tankfull (... just over 400mi thus far) of Exxon premium (Hey, if it's good enough for the Alaskan coastline...) gave 20.25 mpg in mixed 'break-in' driving (No crazy acceleration...). This is below the 22mpg city estimate... and much worse than my old '90 Shadow ES 2.5L T1 5sp: 26/31 mpg stock; 28/33 mpg +40% inj, wires, K&N, & MOPAR perf computer.

What are most folks getting in city & highway?

Stainz05

PS I'll add the MOPAR air filter (K&N?) today...

I just turned 5000 miles on my 04 and I'm just starting to see the estimated numbers... I'm getting around 23mpg.

i get about 22mpg combined city/highway. i once got 28 highway....once. it's hard to get good gas mileage in these cars, especially with s2 and the way the injectors dump fuel.....

I could have sworn early on that the gas gauge was moving right before my eyes when on the boost.

Boy is it fun though.

Actually, those are pretty good numbers for a stage two car. I dont get that much better with stage one and some other mods. Expect to see mid teens beating on it, and no better than 25 combined.

Oh, and by the way, don't let the microscopic capacity of your fuel tank fool you into thinking ten miles to the gallon. If I run mine until the light flashes, and it takes 11.5 gal.

Ok, 700 miles, it's ready, start driving it like you hate it for another 1000, it'll break in quick.
